A multi-award winning software engineering company in the fields of AIoT, Automation, and Asset Optimization is expanding their DACH sales team with a focus in their Oil & Gas verticals. Their multinational European team provides industry-leading solutions across multiple verticals (also Chemical, Engineering & Construction, Pharmaceutical, and FMCG) and has key customers such as BASF, Dow Chemical, Shell, and ExxonMobil. Additionally, their partners include Accenture, Emerson, and Hexagon, to name a few.
This American company has 30 different offices worldwide (Frankfurt in Germany) and they value innovation, collaboration, and execution. With their solutions, customers can tackle their most complex process manufacturing challenges via their asset performance management, monitoring, and end-to-end optimization solutions. Specifically, their solutions deliver the data foundation for the OT/IT convergence that support critical applications, which is scalable, configurable, and secure.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying new customers and raising initial interest for the product
- Managing the entire sales cycle (support from Solutions Consultants and the Services team for PoCs and PoVs)
- Managing commercial agreements and informative & effective communication to potential stakeholders
- Closing contracts and managing the handover to internal and external integration teams
- Collaborating with the European partner network
- Working with cross-functional teams (formulate strategies, manage clients and close strategic client opportunities)
- Developing relationships at all levels in the customer organization (with a focus on IT, digital, data, and/or innovation executives)
- Understanding of the customer's business priorities and requirements
- Creating a strategic account plan and pipeline development plan
- Respond to RFPs, Bid preparation, follow-up, negotiation and closing of sales
Requirements:
- Experienced in enterprise software sales, (preferably OT/IT aspects of large industrial corporations)
- Using the consultative sales approach
- Detail oriented
- Fluent in English and German
- Fluent in software architectures (mainly the MS stack, Windows Server, Azure),
- Knowledge in industrial integration standards (e.g. OPC UA) is a plus
- Proactive and self-starter
- New logo acquisition mindset
