Founding Software Engineer
We're looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join a fast-growing startup building complex, real-world technology products. What You'll Do
- Design, build, and scale backend services that power mission-critical applications.
- Develop distributed systems and APIs with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term platform strategy.
- Own projects end-to-end, from design through deployment and production support.
- Mentor engineers and help establish engineering best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development experience with technologies such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of system design, data modeling, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Track record of delivering complex technical projects with significant ownership.
- Experience gained across a mix of startup and established technology environments is highly preferred.
- Interest or experience in AI, robotics, automation, computer vision, machine learning infrastructure, or other technically complex domains is a plus.
