Glocomms is partnering exclusively with a leading semiconductor manufacturing company, fueling AI infrastructure, as a competitor to the likes of Analog Devices, Intel, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm. We are searching for a forward-thinking VP of Information Technology to partner with the CIO in shaping and executing our technology strategy. This role will focus on building robust IT operations, overseeing large-scale technology initiatives, and driving innovation while managing the IT budget. With a clear path to expand into full CIO responsibilities, this leadership position offers significant impact and visibility at the executive level.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CIO in creating a cohesive IT vision, roadmap, and budget that align with overall business objectives.
- Oversee infrastructure, support services, and collaboration platforms to ensure consistent, high-quality service and secure operations.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and maximize ROI on technology investments.
- Build and lead high-performing IT teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
- Identify emerging technologies to modernize systems and processes, accelerating the organization's digital transformation.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, balancing service quality with budgetary constraints.
- Enforce cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements, ensuring best-in-class risk management.
- Act as a delegate for the CIO in executive meetings and strategic decision-making, preparing to assume broader CIO responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years in progressively responsible IT leadership roles, with proven experience managing budgets and large-scale projects.
- Strong command of modern infrastructure, cloud solutions, security best practices, and enterprise collaboration tools, specifically within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
- Ability to inspire teams, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and confidently present at the executive level.
- Track record of effective budget creation, cost optimization, and performance reporting.
