Senior Software Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our client's team building and enhancing a cloud-form service used across multiple cloud-based applications. This permanent role is based in the USA with a hybrid model in either Philadelphia, PA or Huntsville, AL. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle in an agile, DevOps-oriented environment, helping to define requirements, design new features, and integrate modern cloud services. Please note: no sponsorship is available for this position.
Experience & Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent background, providing a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
- 4+ years of software development experience, demonstrating the ability to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of our client's team.
Key Skills
- C#: Developing scalable, maintainable backend services and application logic.
- SQL: Designing and optimizing database queries to ensure performant data access.
- REST API & Cloud Services: Creating and integrating cloud services and REST interfaces for modern web applications.
- Agile, TDD, Continuous Delivery, DevOps: Working in iterative cycles, writing testable code, and supporting automated deployment pipelines.
- Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns: Applying best practices to build clean, extensible architectures.
- .NET Standard/Core: Leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem to develop cross-platform solutions.
- Git: Using version control effectively for collaboration and code quality.
- TypeScript & CosmosDB (Optional): Contributing to front-end and cloud database solutions when required.
