We're currently partnered with a rapidly growing technology company that's helping some of the world's largest enterprise organizations bring greater visibility, automation, and intelligence to their operations through a unique combination of hardware, software, and cloud technologies.
They're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers as they implement and scale mission-critical solutions. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of software engineering, solution architecture, deployment, and customer success. You'll work closely with technical stakeholders, product teams, and end users to solve complex operational challenges and drive measurable business impact.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with enterprise customers to deploy and expand technology solutions in production environments
- Translate business processes and operational workflows into scalable technical solutions
- Design and implement end-to-end system architectures and integrations
- Develop scripts, automation tools, and prototypes to support customer implementations
- Troubleshoot deployment challenges and optimize solution performance
- Lead technical workshops, onboarding sessions, and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions
- Support customers as they scale solutions across multiple teams, sites, or business units
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation consulting, or a similar technical role
- Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders on technical projects
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, system design, and data workflows
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Ability to independently drive projects in complex and evolving environments
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable balancing hands-on technical work with customer engagement
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT platforms, connected devices, or hardware-enabled software solutions
- Background working with supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operational technology systems
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages
- Experience supporting large-scale production deployments
- Familiarity with enterprise software implementations and change management
