Salesforce Back-End Developer
A leading consultancy is expanding its presence in Lisbon to support a major international financial services client on a multi-year digital transformation program. We are seeking a Senior Developer to join the CRM Engineering and Digital Delivery team, driving the design and implementation of scalable solutions across retail and corporate banking domains.
This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role where technical excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and architectural vision are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
- Actively contribute to consulting projects, including technical leadership and team coordination.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with architects, product owners, and client stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on guidance to Salesforce developers and admins, ensuring best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and code quality.
- Integrate Salesforce with core banking systems and third-party platforms using APIs and middleware (e.g., Mulesoft).
- Design and implement software solutions using Java and other enterprise technologies.
- Ensure platform performance, security, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development projects, ideally within banking, insurance, or real estate.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Senior Developer in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and tools like Git, Copado, or Gearset.
- Knowledge of system communication standards: JDBC, JMS, RESTful APIs, SOAP, RPC.
- Strong communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, and client orientation.
- Fluent English is mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.

- Languages: Java (primary), .NET, Go is a plus
