Mulesoft Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Architect to lead the design and implementation of a new integration platform that will connect Salesforce with SAP S/4HANA. The role will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, leading design decisions, and ensuring integrations meet the organization's quality, security, and performance standards.

The ideal candidate will have solid expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, as well as experience in complex integration projects within enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design the integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Define standards, best practices, and integration patterns for the project.
• Collaborate with Salesforce and SAP teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Develop API specifications, define contracts, and ensure API governance.
• Supervise the work of MuleSoft developers, reviewing designs and code to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Manage integration security (authentication, authorization, encryption).
• Participate in estimations, planning, and technical risk management for the project.
• Provide support in integration testing and production deployments.
• Document the architecture and key decisions made throughout the project.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in integration projects, with at least 5 years working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proven experience integrating enterprise systems, preferably Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of API design (RAML, REST, SOAP) and best practices in service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with CloudHub deployments, environment management, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with security concepts (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).
• Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
