Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
Position Summary: The IT Infrastructure Specialist is tasked with the implementation, management, and troubleshooting of the organization's network and system environment. This role involves providing comprehensive user support, including hardware and software assistance, in line with service level agreements (SLAs). The primary goal is to maintain top-tier performance and availability of the IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless productivity throughout the company.
The specialist will also be responsible for supporting workstations across the facility, which are vital to the Manufacturing process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and install essential software to maintain system performance and availability, with escalation as required.
- Resolve help desk tickets related to software issues.
- Administer backup processes and ensure their reliability.
- Install and support user workstations, ensuring they meet operational needs
- Maintain and support the IT network to ensure constant access to company systems.
- Patch and troubleshoot network connections.
- Perform LAN, WAN, and VPN administrative tasks.
- Advise on, participate in, and/or lead IT infrastructure projects to enhance the company's IT capabilities.
- Offer technical training and create documentation for users, IT staff, and external partners to ensure effective knowledge transfer within the organization.
- Enforce compliance with standard policies and procedures.
