Job Title: Senior Information Security Engineer
Join a prestigious law firm in New York as a Senior Information Security Engineer, as technical security lead for the safeguarding and general oversight of their network. Using a range of security tools and applications, you'll also need to rely on technical expertise to manipulate and look beyond what the tools are telling you!
Responsibilities include enhancing existing security solutions, identifying new tools to mitigate security risks, and leading deployment and maintenance efforts for various security systems such as Antivirus, IPS, malware detection, DLP, Identity and Access Management, and encryption tools. Staying updated on current vulnerabilities, attacks, and security developments is crucial for success in this role.
Compensation:
This permanent position offers a highly competitive base salary of up to $205,000 (pending individual experience) and includes a competitive annual bonus, along with great health benefits. One perk of the legal industry is market stability!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
- 8+ years of experience in a technical security engineering position
- CISSP certification preferred
Location:
New York City based role, some onsite from time to time but open to remote as standard if within 2 hours commuting distance from their office location.
