Cybersecurity Architect
Glocomms is partnered with a leading WealthTech organization seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to help drive enterprise security strategy, architecture, and risk management initiatives. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for shaping cybersecurity and AI security programs, defining security standards, and partnering with stakeholders across cloud, infrastructure, engineering, data, and risk functions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise security architectures, standards, and security-by-design principles.
- Lead security architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, and security control evaluations.
- Drive AI security, AI governance, and AI risk management initiatives across the organization.
- Design secure cloud, network, infrastructure, IAM, and data security solutions.
- Establish security policies, frameworks, and controls aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee third-party risk assessments, vendor security reviews, and continuous monitoring activities.
- Support data protection initiatives including encryption, key management, DLP, and data governance.
- Partner with Security Operations and Incident Response teams to strengthen organizational resilience.
- Develop security roadmaps, KPIs, KRIs, and executive-level reporting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to technology and business leadership on cybersecurity strategy.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or security engineering.
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud security, network security, IAM, and application security.
- Experience building or supporting AI security and AI governance programs.
- Deep knowledge of NIST, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and related security frameworks.
- Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, security audits, and risk management.
- Understanding of data security, software supply chain security, and third-party risk management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with executive-facing experience.
- Experience with security automation, Python scripting, analytics, or Power BI is preferred.
