About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to partner directly with customers and help implement highly technical AI solutions in production environments. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, solutions architecture, and customer success, making it an ideal opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving technical challenges while working closely with end users.
The successful candidate will work directly with customers to understand requirements, design technical solutions, build integrations, and support successful deployments. Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with customers to design and deploy AI-powered solutions
- Build integrations, APIs, and custom workflows based on customer requirements
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout implementation projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Drive deployments from discovery through production launch
- Gather customer feedback and provide product recommendations
- Create implementation best practices and deployment frameworks
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, AI Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical role
- Strong software development and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Passion for customer-facing technical work
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing engineering or technical consulting roles
- Background building APIs, integrations, and cloud-based applications
- Experience deploying AI, machine learning, or automation solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise software implementation projects
