Top career trends

In our Tech Industry Insights report, we uncover top trends shaping technology across North America. We asked professionals in the US and Europe for their thoughts on relocation, growth, and mobility, as well as compensation and flexible working, and discovered what currently drives talent within the tech industry to look for a new role. Across the board, regardless of sector or region, seeking higher compensation is the biggest driver for tech professionals to look for a new job.

These reasons and factors are complied from the survey results, across every sector. 

Relocation hot spots in the US 

California ranked as one of the top five states that tech professionals would move to for a job. In fact, both California and Florida were miles ahead of New York, Texas, and Colorado.

Overall, Florida may be trying to come for the top spot, but California is still the number one choice for tech professionals to relocate to compared with any other state in the US.
