Data Engineer
I'm working with an interesting SaaS advertising customer, the mission is as an EXTERNAL CONTRACTOR, full remote, and long term.
We are looking for a Data Engineer with experience AWS & Databricks for a start date of June/July. You'll be instrumental in designing and expanding the data infrastructure that drives informed decision-making across the organization.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Architecting and implementing resilient data pipelines to ingest, cleanse, and transform raw data from diverse sources into reliable, high-quality datasets leveraged company wide.
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT frameworks to support both real-time streaming and batch processing, ensuring seamless data movement from ingestion through to analytics and reporting.
- Improve data accessibility and usability by designing clear, well-documented data models that empower analysts and business users to explore and trust the data.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of existing data infrastructure by refining queries, enhancing storage strategies, and streamlining pipeline execution for large-scale datasets.
- Champion data governance and quality standards, implementing robust monitoring, validation, and alerting systems to detect and address data anomalies and inconsistencies.
The ideal profile will have:
- 5+ years' experience in the Data Engineering domain
- Strong experience with Databricks in an AWS environment.
- Experience with tools such as Python & SQL
- Proficient in statistical analysis and foundational machine learning techniques
- Well-versed in key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to SaaS business models
- Hands-on experience integrating with HubSpot and Chargebee APIs
