Lead Product Manager
Lead Product Manager
Location: New York, NY
About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the development of innovative, 0-to-1 products that solve complex challenges across internal teams. This role involves deep collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders-including Medical/R&D, Biometrics, Clinical Program Management, and Clinical Operations-to identify pain points and develop impactful solutions.
You'll be expected to lead product discovery, experimentation, and iterative development, often in areas without established precedents. This is a highly entrepreneurial role where you'll influence not only product strategy but also operational processes and tooling decisions, including when to build in-house versus license third-party solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Conduct user research through interviews, shadowing, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product opportunities.
- Develop and test hypotheses quickly to validate product direction.
- Influence broader operational and strategic decisions beyond product development.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party tools when appropriate.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, including building new or experimental products.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a fast learner.
- Passion for understanding adjacent processes and team dynamics.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, especially AI and LLMs, and their impact on product development.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and driving clarity.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and launching successful products.
- Experience building solutions for internal stakeholders or a strong interest in doing so.
- Background or strong interest in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Compensation
- Target salary range: $180,000 - $240,000, depending on location and experience.
- Additional compensation includes equity, comprehensive benefits, hybrid work flexibility, and other perks.
