Glocomms is supporting a leading investment management company dedicated to serving investors and supporting their long‑term financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and operate application security tooling across development and delivery pipelines, prioritizing resilience, scalability, and developer adoption.
  • Integrate security scanning and testing into CI/CD workflows in a way that is automated, consistent, and low friction for engineering teams.
  • Own the reliability of application security platforms by implementing observability, alerting, and operational safeguards.
  • Respond to production incidents related to security tooling, participate in support rotations, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventative improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and platform owners to embed security technologies into shared development environments and enterprise tooling.
  • Translate application security program requirements into technical implementations, including pipeline configurations, automation, connectors, and operational playbooks.
  • Drive continuous improvement of security engineering patterns, identifying opportunities to simplify tooling, modernize architectures, and reduce technical debt.
  • Leverage automation to minimize manual processes and improve the consistency and scalability of security controls.
  • Apply strong knowledge of software design, system architectures, and infrastructure patterns to improve security outcomes.
  • Contribute production-quality code, infrastructure-as-code, scripts, and configurations that support security platforms and workflows.
  • Guide and support less experienced engineers through mentorship, design feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation covering systems, integrations, and operational procedures.
  • Support additional initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or application security.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
