We're looking for a Cloud Programme Lead to help drive a multi-year infrastructure and application transformation programme at enterprise scale. This is a strategic delivery role focused on coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning technical execution with business priorities, and ensuring that cloud platforms are secure, scalable, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the delivery of cloud transformation workstreams across AWS and Azure platforms
  • Coordinating engineering teams (DevOps, SRE, Security, App Dev) to ensure aligned execution
  • Managing programme roadmaps, delivery milestones, and stakeholder communications
  • Overseeing the implementation of infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and compliance tooling
  • Supporting the migration of workloads from legacy data centers to cloud-native environments
  • Driving standardisation of infrastructure patterns and improving developer experience
  • Ensuring regulatory and security requirements are embedded into delivery pipelines

Technical Environment

The programme is focused on modernising infrastructure using a hybrid cloud model, with a strong emphasis on automation and compliance. Technologies in use include:

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (primary), Azure (for business applications)
  • Containerisation: Kubernetes (EKS), Helm
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
  • Automation & Compliance: InSpec, Ansible Tower, Policy-as-Code
  • Monitoring & Observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana

The organisation is consolidating its data center footprint and transitioning core workloads to AWS, while continuing to leverage Azure for enterprise applications

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience leading cloud or infrastructure programmes in complex, regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, and compliance automation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to fast-moving delivery landscapes
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is mandatory
