🔐 Application Security Engineer (Cloud)
We're hiring an Application Security Engineer to help design, build, and operate application security tooling for a large‑scale, cloud‑native engineering environment. This role sits close to core platform and developer teams and focuses on automation, reliability, and secure software delivery at scale.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and operate application security tools across the SDLC
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and secret scanning into CI/CD pipelines
- Improve the reliability, scalability, and observability of AppSec platforms
- Minimize developer friction through automation and well‑designed workflows
- Partner closely with engineers, platform teams, and security stakeholders
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on‑call support rotations
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in application security, software engineering, or cloud engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and AppSec tooling
- Solid cloud background (AWS preferred) and infrastructure‑as‑code exposure
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of modern application architectures and secure SDLC practices
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated environments
- Background building internal security platforms or developer tooling
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices

- Hybrid roles available in Dallas, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Malvern, PA
