Backend Engineer, Node.js (M/F/D)
We're looking for a Back-End Web Developer (m/f/d) to join our growing team remotely within Germany or the EU. If you're passionate about building scalable backend systems and want to work on cutting-edge FinTech solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable microservices as part of a modern backend architecture
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs that integrate with frontend and third-party services
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers
- Optimize performance, reliability, and security across the platform
- Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in backend development with JavaScript / Node.js
- Solid understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Bonus: Interest in blockchain and/or the financial industry
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
