Position: Associate Director, Blockchain Engineering

Location: Jersey City, NJ / Tampa, Florida

We're on the lookout for a seasoned Solidity Engineer with a strong foundation in Quantitative Finance (QuantFi) to join a high-impact team at the forefront of decentralized finance innovation.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Architect and deploy smart contracts that model complex financial instruments like derivatives, swaps, and repo agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions into broader financial systems.
  • Drive cross-chain interoperability and develop smart contracts across multiple Layer 1 technologies.
  • Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement best practices to ensure security and performance.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and applying the latest in cryptographic and blockchain advancements.
  • Partner with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live smart contracts, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum reliability.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related STEM field.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Solidity and blockchain technologies.
  • Proven experience in Quantitative Finance, particularly in areas like collateral management, lending, and derivatives.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain security and smart contract vulnerabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Hardhat, Foundry, and security tools like Slither and Mythril.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • A solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and modern development methodologies.
  • Bonus: Experience in DeFi infrastructure, especially in risk management and compliance.
