About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Terraform/IaC Engineer with deep experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support the buildout of their platform. This is a senior-level role with architectural responsibilities, working closely with a Principal Architect and cross-functional teams to deploy secure, scalable infrastructure. This is a client-facing, hybrid contract role with the potential to convert to full-time. You'll be embedded in a small, high-impact team focused on infrastructure, networking, and security within a multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices

* Deploy and manage large-scale infrastructure on GCP, with exposure to AWS and Azure

* Collaborate with security and risk teams to ensure compliance and secure deployment

* Work closely with internal stakeholders and executives-strong communication and presentation skills are essential

* Support onboarding of new use cases, including potential AI/ML workloads

* Partner with a Principal Architect to shape platform direction and technical strategy

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps

* Expert-level Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code skills

* Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Atmos platform experience a plus)

* Solid understanding of networking components and cloud security

* Excellent communication skills-must be comfortable in client-facing and executive-facing settings

* Experience in highly regulated environments (finance preferred) Potential to convert to full-time based on performance and program growth
