Compensation: $300,000 to $450,000 + equity

A rapidly scaling healthcare technology company is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead its technical strategy and team development. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building scalable systems that improve lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team
• Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with company goals
• Drive technical vision, architecture, and infrastructure scalability
• Oversee engineering operations, delivery timelines, and process improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and go-to-market teams
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence
• Implement best practices in software development, security, and DevOps
• Manage budgets, resource planning, and technical roadmaps
• Deliver complex engineering projects on schedule and within budget
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ years in leadership roles
• Proven success scaling engineering teams from startup to growth stage
• Experience deploying and scaling mobile and web applications
• Deep expertise in architecture, cloud infrastructure, and development methodologies
• Strong technical proficiency in React, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and related tools
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
