Location: Minneapolis, MN
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite (5 days/week)
Compensation: Starting at $118,000+
A leading organization in the healthcare and technology space is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support its AI enablement initiatives. This is a hands-on development role focused on building integrations, interfaces, and cloud infrastructure to support experimentation and early-stage digital products. You'll work closely with AI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to create production-ready tools that drive real business value.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Environment Setup
- Stand up and manage cloud environments (primarily AWS) for AI testing and development
- Build deployment scripts, infrastructure as code, APIs, and automation tools
- Support model execution, data pipeline integration, and application hosting
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent deployment and quality assurance
Full Stack Development
- Build lightweight tools, UIs, and services to make AI models usable for internal teams
- Integrate AI outputs into web-based tools and digital workflows
- Collaborate with AI developers on model deployment and versioning
- Design and implement scalable backend services using modern frameworks
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Proficiency in full stack development using React, FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other relational/NoSQL systems
- Comfortable writing Python and integrating APIs
- Interest in AI and working alongside data science teams
Preferred
- Experience in rapid prototyping or MVP development
- Familiarity with MLOps workflows
- Ability to work with structured and semi-structured data
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
