About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join a leading insurance organisation on a 12‑month contract. This role is fully remote, offering the opportunity to contribute to major transformation and process‑improvement initiatives across the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and experience working in dynamic, data‑driven environments. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users to support product and operational enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements for new and existing initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Support end‑to‑end project delivery across change, digital, and operational programmes.
  • Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and risk identification.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, Product, Operations, and Senior Leadership teams.
  • Contribute to testing strategies, UAT planning, and validation activities.
  • Maintain clear documentation and ensure alignment with project governance standards.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry (general, life, specialty, or reinsurance).
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, data, and systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in business process mapping and requirements gathering.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar.


Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to digital transformation or system migration projects.
  • Understanding of regulatory/compliance frameworks within insurance.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
