A fast-growing pharmaceutical SaaS startup is seeking a Website Engineer to maintain and enhance its web presence. This is a full-time, remote role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in website development and a passion for clean, functional design. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and collaboratively to ensure the website remains performant, up-to-date, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve website functionality, performance, and responsiveness
- Implement content updates and ensure consistency across pages
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to support campaigns and product launches
- Ensure SEO best practices and accessibility standards are met
- Monitor site analytics and recommend improvements based on user behavior
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of professional experience in website development or engineering
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js)
- Experience with CMS platforms and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple updates simultaneously
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup environment
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques
- Experience with SEO, analytics platforms, and A/B testing
- Exposure to cloud platforms or CI/CD pipelines
