As a Software Systems Developer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing technical solutions based on cross-functional requirements. You'll work closely with various teams to understand operational needs and translate them into scalable, maintainable software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and implement tailored software solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure infrastructure supports performance, security, and scalability.
- Maintain, extend, and integrate various internal software systems.
- Design, administer, and optimize MS SQL Server databases.
- Develop and maintain custom reports using exports, dashboards, SSRS, and Crystal Reports.
- Automate business processes using SQL, APIs, and custom applications.
- Manage source control and maintain a clean, extensible codebase.
- Document system modifications and customizations for future reference.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in SQL Server development and architecture.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience with full-stack development, including database, server-side, and client-side technologies.
- Ability to debug and test applications within IDEs and browsers.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, operating systems, databases, and Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
- Capable of providing project updates and timelines to leadership.
Education & Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in MS SQL development, management, and administration.
- Experience with C#, VB.Net, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Familiarity with MVC/Web API development.
- Experience with source control systems and version management.
