Glocomms is partnered with a globally recognized Wealth Management institution to support the expansion of their internal cyber defense capabilities. We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join a high-performing threat response team that plays a critical role in protecting enterprise systems from advanced cyber adversaries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Act as a key member of the internal threat response team, managing and responding to security incidents.
• Lead investigations into both minor and major cyber events, applying structured incident response methodologies.
• Analyze threat intelligence, assess risk, and implement countermeasures to mitigate potential impact.
• Maintain real-time awareness of the global threat landscape and respond to emerging risks.
• Conduct forensic investigations in support of internal teams such as HR and Legal.
• Build and enhance detection and investigative capabilities using modern tools and scripting.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to advise on cyber risk and mitigation strategies.
• Perform malware analysis, intrusion detection, and threat research.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours incident response when required.

Experience:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required)

• 5+ years in IT, including:

• 3+ years in Information Security
• 2+ years in Cyber Network Defense
• 3+ years in incident response, malware analysis, penetration testing, scripting, or forensics

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of network protocols and intrusion detection systems
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and memory forensics
• Experience with log analysis across endpoints, networks, cloud, and email systems
• Familiarity with exploit code analysis and vulnerability research
• Systems administration experience across Linux, Unix, Windows, or macOS

Tool Proficiency:

• Wireshark
• OSINT tools
• Splunk
• SentinelOne
• Burp Suite

Core Skills:

• Malware analysis (static and dynamic)
• Data analysis and anomaly detection
• Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure

Preferred Certifications (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)

• CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GNFA, GREM
• OSCP, OSCE
