Salesforce Functional Lead
About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a leading insurance provider in Spain, we are currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Lead to spearhead a Service Cloud implementation as part of a major digital transformation initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact project in a collaborative, bilingual environment based in Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, including architecture, configuration, and custom development.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with insurance industry needs.
- Manage and mentor a small team of Salesforce developers and admins.
- Oversee integrations with core insurance systems (policy, claims, customer service).
- Ensure best practices in development, data governance, and release management.
- Provide training and post-go-live support to internal users.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Proven track record delivering Service Cloud projects.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations and customer service processes.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder) are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with integration tools such as MuleSoft or REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of Spanish insurance regulations and compliance standards.
