Glocomms is partnering with a tech savvy and reputable organization in South Central Texas to find a Manager, Enterprise Applications. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and support of Oracle-based enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic vision, guiding teams and collaborating with business leaders to deliver secure, high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers and database administrators managing Oracle applications and integrations.
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, agile development environment.
  • Align IT initiatives with business goals across departments like finance, operations, HR, and supply chain.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet enterprise needs.
  • Manage Oracle EBS environments (R12.2), including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Architect and develop custom applications and integrations using Oracle technologies (SQL, PL/SQL, APEX, SOA, etc.).
  • Oversee database performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Support additional technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, and reporting tools like Noetix or Splash BI.
  • Ensure system security and compliance in collaboration with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.
  • Lead IT audit readiness and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and other regulations.
  • Conduct access reviews, segregation of duties analysis, and manage identity and access controls.
  • Implement governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ITIL) and use tools like Oracle GRC and OneTrust for risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience managing Oracle EBS and related enterprise applications.
  • Strong scripting skills and familiarity with Linux/Unix/Windows environments.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
