I'm working with a cutting-edge team at the forefront of financial crime prevention. They're using transactional data and advanced data science to help financial institutions detect fraud and money laundering - and they're looking for a talented Data Scientist to join them.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing algorithms to uncover criminal behaviour in payments data
- Leading proof-of-concept projects and prototyping new products
- Collaborating with engineering, product, and client teams
- Creating visual insights, contributing to patents and white papers
- Ensuring privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in all work
What They're Looking For
- Strong Python skills (including pandas, scikit-learn, networkx)
- Experience developing novel algorithms
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Interest in financial crime and behavioural data modeling
- Bonus skills: Kafka, TensorFlow, network theory, custom visualizations
