IT Network Engineer
Glocomms is partnering with a reputable and scaling healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to support and optimize a global enterprise network environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise WAN and LAN networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve complex network issues through root cause analysis.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams on infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.
- Maintain network documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Support voice, video, and data networking environments.
- Participate in network modernization and optimization efforts.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong experience with routing, switching, WAN technologies, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and maintaining large-scale network environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare or Life Sciences industry experience.
- Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, or similar).
- Experience with Aruba SD WAN technologies.
