IT Infrastructure Support Engineer
Role: IT Support Engineer (Brussels - Hybrid, Freelance Contract)
Contract duration: Until December 2026
On-site presence: 3-4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and support internal users with PCs (hardware & software), printers, mobile devices, tablets, etc., both in Belgium and internationally.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Provide support via email, phone, Microsoft Teams, and occasional onsite assistance.
- Follow standard helpdesk processes and collaborate with external suppliers when needed.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong interest in PC hardware and peripherals
- Good knowledge of Windows 11, MS Teams, M365, and other common IT applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner with a customer‑focused mindset
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Fluent English required; Dutch and French are an advantage
- Open to flexible working hours and occasional short trips abroad
Experience Requirements
- Degree in IT or at least 18 months of relevant hands‑on IT support experience
- Familiarity with basic IT concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, Windows environments)
