With strong revenue, rapid growth, and a massive market opportunity, the company is hiring an exceptional Fullstack Engineer (Backend, AI) to take ownership of key product areas and help shape the engineering culture from the ground up.
Role Overview
This is a high-impact role where the engineer will work directly with the founding team and a small, elite group of builders. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to core product decisions, ship production-ready code quickly, and make a meaningful impact on both customers and the business.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build mission-critical features end-to-end (frontend and backend)
- Ship and iterate on production code using Python, Node.js, and React
- Integrate cutting-edge AI/ML models (e.g., LangChain, open-source LLMs)
- Collaborate on technical strategy, product roadmap, and scaling decisions
- Influence engineering culture-code quality, reviews, and development processes
- Operate in a fast-paced environment: deploy, test, gather feedback, and iterate
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proficient in Python, React, Node.js, Postgres, and AWS
- Strong communicator across technical and non-technical teams
- Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and microservices
- Experience building zero-to-one products and iterating rapidly
- Passionate about clean, scalable code and continuous learning
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership
- Interest in experimenting with new tools, especially in AI/ML
Work Environment
- Founder-led, flat structure-ideas and code directly shape the product
- Fast-moving, collaborative, and focused on building something meaningful
- Onsite only, based in Manhattan (no remote work)
