Front Arena Specialist
Glocomms are working on a highly specialised opportunity for a Front Arena BDP (Business Data Platform) / Aggregation Specialist within a front-office technology team at a leading investment management environment.
This role sits at the core of the trading platform, with responsibility for designing, building, and optimising aggregation pipelines that drive key outputs across positions, P&L, risk, and end-of-day reporting.
It is a technically demanding position with a strong focus on data accuracy, performance, and scalability in a live trading environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing BDP aggregation specifications end-to-end
- Working extensively with ADFL, ASQL, ACM, and AEL
- Optimising aggregation jobs and end-of-day batch processes
- Improving performance across AMBA and ATS pipelines
- Ensuring accurate and consistent P&L, position, and risk data outputs
- Collaborating closely with front-office, risk, and operations stakeholders
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong, hands-on experience with Front Arena BDP and aggregation frameworks
- Deep expertise in ADFL, particularly across AMBA and ATS pipelines
- Working knowledge of ACM, AEL, ASQL, and broader platform components
- Proven experience tuning and troubleshooting aggregation processes in production
- Experience within a front-office trading environment
- Additional exposure to Python for integration or automation work
