Overview
We are partnering with a leading insurance organisation that is investing heavily in the modernisation and optimisation of its claims function. As part of a wider business transformation programme, they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support process improvement initiatives, requirements gathering, and the delivery of technology and operational change across the claims landscape.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong insurance domain knowledge, particularly within claims management, to join a high-profile transformation programme in a fully remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders, claims teams, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Evaluate and optimise end-to-end claims processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation.
- Create detailed process maps, workflows, and business process models using industry-standard methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand current and future-state requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories for delivery teams.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation, and business readiness activities.
- Analyse impacts of process and system changes across claims operations.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Required Experience
- Strong experience working as a Business Analyst within complex change and transformation environments.
- Proven understanding of claims management processes within the insurance industry.
- Demonstrable experience in process modelling, process mapping, and business process improvement.
- Previous experience working within insurance or fintech organisations.
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating business requirements documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Ability to work independently within a remote project environment.
- Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting claims transformation, digitalisation, or system implementation projects.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with claims platforms, workflow tools, or policy administration systems.
- Experience working on operational efficiency or automation initiatives.
