Role Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, finance, and IT to define requirements, optimize processes, and support the delivery of digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for digital transformation projects.
- Map and assess current business processes, identifying areas for automation and improvement.
- Collaborate with IT teams to translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across business units.
- Support the implementation of new platforms, tools, and data systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards.
- Track project milestones and contribute to reporting and communication efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally in reinsurance or insurance.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation principles and enterprise systems.
- Experience with process modeling (e.g., BPMN), requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
