Senior Network Security Engineer
Glocomms is partnered with a leading investment firm to find a talented Senior Network Security Engineer to join their dynamic technology team. You'll be managing global network infrastructure across office and data center environments. This senior role focuses on delivering high-performance, resilient, and scalable networking solutions in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain enterprise-scale network infrastructure using Cisco and Arista technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing, switching, firewalls, and WAN.
- Automate operational tasks with Python, Ansible, and Git.
- Implement WAN networks with IOS-XR, segment routing, and multitenant designs.
- Monitor and optimize network health using advanced telemetry tools.
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices for network provisioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic network initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience with large-scale enterprise or data center networks.
- Expertise in Cisco and Arista platforms (IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS, EOS).
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS.
- Familiarity with WAN technologies, SD-WAN, and segment routing.
- Scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, Jinja2, Git).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
- CCNP or equivalent certification preferred; CCIE a plus.
