Overview
A globally operating life sciences company is seeking an experienced Technical Process Consultant for its SAP Center of Excellence. This role focuses on optimizing production planning, materials management, and manufacturing execution through SAP solutions.
Your Tasks
As an Inhouse Technical Process Consultant SAP CoE (Plan-to-Produce) based in Hilden (near Düsseldorf), you will play a key role in enhancing and stabilizing the SAP system landscape in the area of production and supply chain.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Configuring and managing SAP PtP modules (PP, MM, QM) to improve production, material, and quality management processes
- Ensuring high-quality system changes, maintaining technical documentation, and providing support in the SAP Plan-to-Produce environment
- Optimizing production planning, scheduling, and material requirements planning (MRP)
- Collaborating closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to streamline workflows
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to production orders, scheduling, and capacity planning
- Leading or supporting SAP projects, system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP consulting, ideally in a Center of Excellence environment
- Deep knowledge of SAP PP, MRP, and shop floor system integration
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori applications, and integration technologies (PI/PO, IDOCs, APIs)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (German is a plus, but not mandatory)
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and across global teams
