Base Comp: $150-180K base + 15% Annual Target Bonus
Location: Primarily Remote - In-Person/On-Site Few Days EVERY MONTH in Newark, NJ OR Bethpage, Long Island, NY
Summary:
Are you a seasoned cybersecurity professional looking to make your mark in the industry? Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Security Analyst to join their team based in either Long Island or Newark, NJ. This senior-level role is pivotal in driving the company's IT security initiatives, maintaining robust systems, and leading a team of skilled professionals to safeguard critical assets.
Role Responsibilities:
- Cyber Security Project Lead: Expertise in managing and implementing security technologies such as antivirus, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint detection & response.
- Data Protection: Proficiency in data loss prevention (DLP) strategies and data encryption to ensure sensitive information remains protected.
- Technical Leadership: Proven ability to provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to team members while ensuring best practices are followed.
- Problem Solving: Adept at identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and implementing security measures to protect information systems effectively.
Skills Required:
- Technology Proficiency: 8+ years of experience in security IT, preferably within cloud computing and implementation of security within cloud forward environments.
- Cybersecurity Analyst Skills: Employ your analytical expertise security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS and more.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our client's team to implement and oversee cyber security protocols, ensuring robust protection at every level.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or 12+ years of experience in IT related field
