We're representing an early-stage AI company that's redefining how organizations synthesize and act on market intelligence. Their platform uses transformer-based models to generate multilingual, audience-specific synopses from long-form content-serving use cases across executive briefings, research, and content creation.
They're looking for a strategic, hands-on VP of Sales to lead and scale go-to-market efforts. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, understands modern sales systems, and can architect scalable revenue operations from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve the sales strategy across enterprise and mid-market segments.
- Build and lead a small but high-performing sales team as a "player-coach."
- Drive pipeline growth through outbound and partner channels.
- Close strategic deals and support complex negotiations.
- Collaborate with product and marketing to refine messaging and positioning.
- Implement and optimize modern CRM and sales tooling (no legacy Salesforce thinking here).
- Develop repeatable sales processes and playbooks for scale.
What They're Looking For
- Proven success selling SaaS or AI/ML products, ideally in B2B environments.
- Strong technical background-able to understand and communicate the value of AI-driven solutions.
- Deep familiarity with modern sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Ottogrid).
- Systems thinker who can design and execute scalable GTM strategies.
- Experience closing six-figure deals and managing long sales cycles.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led startup environment.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
