The Role and Your Profile
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's core banking platform and other internal systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test cases, enhancing the test framework, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test scripts based on technical specifications
- Increase test automation coverage across systems
- Ensure stability and reliability of automated test executions
- Execute test cases and perform detailed analysis and validation
- Enhance and maintain the automation framework
- Support the implementation and improvement of CI/CD processes
Your Background:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals
- Experience with SQL and advanced Excel; knowledge of PL/SQL, APIs, and system architectures is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and microservice architectures
- Experience in the banking sector is beneficial; knowledge of Avaloq is a strong advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
