Senior Software Network Engineer
We are partnering with a company building large-scale cloud and high-performance compute infrastructure to hire a Senior Software Engineer, Network Automation. This role sits at the intersection of networking and software engineering, focused on designing and building automation systems that manage complex, global network environments.
This is a hands-on engineering position where you will develop solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency across modern infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build automation frameworks to support network provisioning and lifecycle management
- Develop software solutions in Python to reduce manual network operations and improve system reliability
- Create internal tools and APIs to enable self-service capabilities for engineering teams
- Collaborate with platform, security, and infrastructure teams on scalable network solutions
- Support and improve performance within large-scale cloud and compute environments
Qualifications:
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar
- Background working across both software engineering and infrastructure domains
- Proven ability to design and build scalable systems and automation solutions
Compensation:
$180K-$300K
Location:
Hybrid in Dallas
