Senior Product Designer, Accounting
Location: Onsite - New York, New York
- Lead the design of end-to-end user experiences for accounting-focused digital products
- Translate complex workflows and data into elegant, user-friendly interfaces
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define and refine product requirements
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices
- Contribute to and help evolve the company's design system and visual language
- Mentor junior designers and provide design leadership across projects
- Several years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise or B2B product design, ideally in finance or accounting
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Solid understanding of user research methods, interaction design, and information architecture
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Background in accounting, finance, or familiarity with accounting software
- Experience designing for data-heavy applications or dashboards
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React) to better collaborate with developers
- Prior experience mentoring designers or leading design initiatives
