We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale data infrastructure and analytics platforms for a large, operations-driven organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on data pipelines, warehouse architecture, and business intelligence systems that directly support decision-making across the company.
You will collaborate closely with analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions in a highly structured, in-person environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build data warehouse and business intelligence solutions in partnership with business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with project leads, analysts, and engineers to implement and test data systems
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance
- Perform unit, performance, and regression testing across data workflows
- Maintain and improve data quality, reliability, and consistency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Support production deployments and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building ETL pipelines using enterprise tooling
- Strong experience writing complex SQL and optimizing database performance
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in data environments
- Experience collaborating with business and analytics stakeholders
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required
- Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern data platforms or cloud-based environments
- Familiarity with Python or scripting for data workflows
- Exposure to tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
- Experience working in large-scale, operationally complex environments
