Senior Sales Account Executive - Enterprise Manufacturing Software

About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Account Executive to drive growth within a defined set of named accounts, primarily in the Aerospace and Defense sector. This role carries a quota of $2M and includes both new business development and expansion within existing accounts. You'll be selling a cloud-native Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform that integrates with ERP and PLM systems to deliver real-time production visibility, traceability, and operational efficiency.

About the Product
The MES platform supports complex discrete manufacturing environments by managing and synchronizing real-time production processes. It enables digital continuity across manufacturing, quality, and MRO operations, and is used by some of the world's largest industrial enterprises. The solution helps reduce operational costs, accelerate new product introduction, and improve throughput.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with executive leadership and solution engineers.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including contract negotiation and closing multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
  • Drive software adoption and demand generation across the customer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns and customer events.
  • Manage product demonstrations, pricing proposals, and RFx responses.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate executive-level engagements such as QBRs to align on strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • Proven success in closing $500K+ license deals in complex sales environments.
  • Deep understanding of MES, ERP, PLM, CAPP, Quality, and MRO software concepts.
  • Experience selling into Aerospace and Defense is highly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build ROI-driven business cases.
  • Familiarity with AI and Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
