Public Sector Account Director
Glocomms is proud to be partnered with one of the world's leading enterprise software providers as they expand their strategic footprint in Germany's public sector. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a seasoned Global Account Director to lead two of their most high-profile accounts within government and public infrastructure.
You'll serve as a strategic advisor, a trusted ally, and a hands-on collaborator for key public sector organizations aiming to modernize their operations. In this role, you'll work side by side with them, offering insights and guidance as they explore new ways to streamline and automate their processes. Your efforts will contribute to meaningful change and deliver measurable outcomes for some of the most impactful institutions in the public domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively lead a joint strategic account planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one-year, eighteen-month, and three-year period.
- Represent the full range of company products and services to assigned public sector clients, while leading the account planning cycle and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in assigned accounts.
- Coordinate the involvement of all cross-functional resources, including support, service, and multi-level management, to meet account performance objectives and client expectations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- A university degree or comparable professional background.
- Around a decade of experience in client-facing roles, particularly involving collaboration with public institutions or government-related entities.
- Demonstrated success in advisory-based sales, especially involving sophisticated digital solutions.
- Familiarity with modern consultative sales methodologies and frameworks.
- Skilled in articulating the strategic value of technology within structured or policy-driven environments.
- Strong ability to interpret both explicit and implicit client needs through active engagement.
- Confident in navigating complex discussions, building alignment, and influencing decision-making processes.
- Fluent in both German and English, with the ability to operate effectively in bilingual professional settings.
