IT Security Manager
We're partnering with a consumer packaged goods company who are seeking an IT Security Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise IT infrastructure and network systems, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. This role is critical to ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across both operational and corporate environments. The ideal candidate brings technical depth, leadership skills, and strategic vision to guide a growing team and support evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, deployment, and upkeep of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Optimize and maintain network environments, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
- Strengthen cybersecurity measures across IT and OT systems through firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection.
- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure and network professionals, setting priorities and driving results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure network architecture aligns with operational goals.
- Implement secure remote access solutions leveraging VPNs, jump servers, and role-based access controls.
- Maintain accurate documentation, manage change processes, and develop disaster recovery and continuity plans.
- Perform risk assessments, enforce network segmentation strategies, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical expertise for internal projects and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor system and network performance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, networking protocols, server architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Skilled at translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
