Identity & Access Management Engineer
Glocomms is partnering with a technology-driven financial organization that is building secure, scalable infrastructure that supports advanced computing and cloud-based platforms. The firm is looking for an Identity & Access Management Engineer to help design, implement, and improve identity and access management solutions across the organization. This role works closely with engineering and security teams to ensure secure, efficient access to systems and applications.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and integrate Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
- Work with engineering and security stakeholders to translate business needs into secure technical designs
- Implement and maintain scalable authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management systems
- Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD best practices within IAM
- Continuously improve IAM processes, tooling, and developer experience
- Embed security best practices into the software development lifecycle without slowing productivity
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in engineering, security, or a related technical role
- Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
- Hands-on experience with IAM concepts such as authentication, authorization, MFA, and identity lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver)
- Familiarity with protocols and standards including SAML, OIDC, PAM, and PKI
- Experience with enterprise IAM platforms (e.g., identity governance tools, cloud identity providers)
- Knowledge of directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
- Understanding of secure development practices (e.g., secure coding, container security, cryptography)
- Experience with cloud, container, or infrastructure platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, Azure)

- Experience working in highly automated or large-scale environments
- Interest in improving security through modern tooling and engineering-led solutions
