The Role
Our client is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. In this role, you will partner closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and optimize technical solutions in real-world environments. You'll play a key role in ensuring successful deployments, translating customer requirements into scalable architectures, and influencing product development based on field insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with enterprise customers to deploy and customize solutions within their environments
- Lead implementation efforts, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and workflows
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across infrastructure, application, and data layers
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers on best practices and architecture decisions
- Partner with internal engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and drive improvements
- Contribute to reusable deployment patterns, tooling, and documentation
Qualifications
- Solid background in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar role, with demonstrated success delivering production systems in enterprise settings
- Proven ability to work directly with customers in a technical capacity, such as in forward-deployed, solutions, or field engineering roles
- Experience integrating technical solutions within enterprise ecosystems, including identity management (e.g., SSO), user provisioning, role-based access control, and secure data connectivity
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade security expectations and compliance considerations
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Background in infrastructure platforms, developer tooling, or DevOps environments
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
