Title: Director of IT - Development, Operations and Security
Location: Frisco, Tx - hybrid (4 days on-site per week)
Compensation: $180,000 - $240,000
Glocomms are partnered with a family own food manufacturer based in Frisco, Tx, in the search for a Director of IT - Development, Operations and Security. This position reports directly to the CIO and plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization's technology operations. The role combines leadership in software development, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity, ensuring that all systems align with business goals and operate securely and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership
- Inspire and guide a team of IT professionals, fostering a service-oriented and high-performance culture.
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide technology initiatives, including application development and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure IT strategies support organizational priorities.
- Monitor service delivery metrics and continuously improve performance standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend forward-thinking solutions.
Operational Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations across development, networking, server management, and data systems.
- Supervise internal staff and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee the implementation of secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure.
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards related to IT and data security.
- Develop and test disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
Project & Resource Management
- Provide expert guidance on hardware and software investments.
- Lead cross-functional projects from concept to completion, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
- Maintain detailed project plans and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
- Manage IT budgets and resource allocation in collaboration with executive leadership.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations related to data protection and privacy.
- Partner with auditors and risk teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and implement best practices across the organization.
What You Bring to the Table
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Over a decade of experience leading IT development and infrastructure teams.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Deep knowledge of IT architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with standards such as NIST, ISO, and OWASP, and technologies like firewalls, encryption, identity management, and network protocols.
