Position Overview
Our client is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead their marketing strategy and execution. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand development, digital marketing, and audience engagement in the live events or experiential space. The Director will be responsible for elevating brand presence, driving client acquisition, and supporting revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals and brand vision.
- Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital campaigns including SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid media, and social media to drive awareness and leads.
- Content Strategy: Create and manage compelling content across platforms-website, blog, case studies, video, and social media.
- Event Marketing: Collaborate with production and sales teams to promote the company's events and client activations.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, campaign performance, and ROI; provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a growing marketing team and external partners/agencies.
- Partnerships & PR: Build relationships with media, influencers, and strategic partners to amplify brand reach.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in B2B marketing, preferably in live events, experiential marketing, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and project management skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and audience engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus).
